Superb French Restaurant in The Suffolks for foodies, with finest ingredients. Formal atmosphere, whilst owners are David and Helen Everitt-Matthias. Le Champignon Sauvage opened in 1987 to great acclaim. Sadly lost two Michelin Star ranking in 2019, however, after ten years. Now a one Star... "While two Michelin Stars are given to establishments with ‘excellent cooking, worth a detour’, one Star is bestowed on venues described as ‘a very good restaurant in its category'".

A fascinating Tudor Castle in Winchcombe, where the last of Henry VIII's six wives - Katherine Parr - lived and died. https://thetudortravelguide.com/2018/11/24/sudeley-castle-and-the-remarkable-life-and-death-of-katherine-parr/

Sudeley Castle, Cheltenham Festivals (Literature, Jazz).

We are very lucky to have some superb festivals in Cheltenham between March and October, including The Gold Cup Horse Racing Festival for 4 days mid-March. Locals enjoy the Jazz, Music, Food and Literature festivals in the heart of Montpellier during Summer and Autumn too.
