hiSbe is a new type of supermarket, with a social enterprise model that serves the interests of people and communities. hiSbe runs on a social enterprise model that puts happiness before profits. Instead of maximising short-term profit, like big supermarkets, they pay and charge what’s fair. Employees get above the living wage, suppliers get a good deal and prices are set so customers pay a fair price for well-sourced goods. If you are after the best eggs for a delicious omelette look no further.

The people who prepare the delicious food in this little cafe really know their flavours - everything is top notch. And while there are usually a couple of meat dishes vegetarians are well looked after too. Everything you'll try here is excellent... don't miss out on the mixed salads which are truly fabulous.

With charming exposed brick walls, bright tiled flooring, retro style fixtures and wooden bar stools that face a luxurious marble-topped pizza bar this is one of the best pizza restaurants in town. A little reminder this is no Pizza Express. The Italian chefs have worked at some of the country’s best-regarded pizzerias, key ingredients have been carefully sourced for their authenticity – from caputo flour to Italian-grown San Marzano tomatoes – and the lively, buzzing atmosphere and easy banter among the staff gives a true holiday feel.

Believe me it’s not just another burger joint! Their burgers are great, so juicy you need to eat them with a knife and fork! And they can do medium rare burgers if you want! Chips are also extremely good. Grab one and go straight to the beach to enjoy (be careful of the seagulls though!)

Modern shop and tasting venue with wines to buy or enjoy in the lounge with nibbles. The idea is based on the enotecas the owners loved in Italy: small, friendly places you could have a glass of wine, some good cheese, and walk away with a bottle recommended by the owner. When they opened they were one of the very first wine bar/shop establishments over here (long before all the hipsters in London started doing it!).
