There is a nice and safe footpath with streetlights from Øyjorden down to Hellen Fort. Great place to go jogging, or just to enjoy the view.

20 min walk from our house up the hills to Munkebotn. This is a lovely place to chill and have a picnic. You can have a swim for free in the cold waters from the tiny banks there. (Ps: the dam is under reconstruction, so this place may not be as described during your visit)
