The best hike in the area is Monkey Mountain or el Cerro del Mono, where at the top you can admire a 360-degree panoramic view. The experience is definitely worth it: the round trip from Sayulita takes approximately three hours. The trail is only three miles long and has some elevation, definitely something you can't miss! @monkeymountainhike .mx

Beach tips

If you're looking to avoid the crowds, skip the main Sayulita beach and head north for a more peaceful vibe and fewer vendors. Another great option is Los Muertos beach early morning, just a short walk away. You'll find everything you need for a relaxing day in the sun, including water and beer, along with other essentials. To find your way, simply check Maps for directions.

Walk around

Sayulita is best experienced on foot. Start off your journey by heading to Los Muertos beach. Along the way, you'll come across the colorful cemetery and breathtaking views. Afterward, take a stroll along the beach to the rocks on the north side. Additionally, you can walk along the Ave. el Palmar and around Calle Miramar.

San Pancho town

Looking for a change of scenery? Head north to the next town, just a 15-minute bus ride away from the bus station departing every 15-20 minutes. You'll find yourself in a charming locale that's less bustling than Sayulita. Picture colorful streets, friendly vibes, a stunning beach, and an array of great dining options. Each tuesday there is a farmers market, from november to april, 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
