On Ole Miss game days, tailgating tents cover most of the campus at this spot, centrally located in the University. Can be quite difficult to reach, and find parking during game days. I suggest finding a place to pay for parking, or get a shuttle there from Oxford High School. Great to go to sit and relax on a sunny spring, fall, or summer day.

How To Prepare For Ole Miss Game Days.......

Driving around is very difficult during football games. Expect congestion, and long waits to get wherever you're going (even to a restaurant or store). For parking, drive down jackson or university avenues to find a church or local resident selling a parking space. Expect to pay $20 or more. For the free shuttle, drive to Oxford High School. Small fee may apply so check online to more info on routes and shuttle times.

Navigating & Parking On The Square

There is paid parking on the square, as well as a new paid parking garage located on Jefferson St and Lamar Avenue, across from Oxford Floral. Free parking is available by Something Southern on east jackson avenue, but often full. If nothing else, always look for signs. Be careful with yield signs, and pedestrians on the square when driving. Drivers will yield to you if you're driving around the courthouse.
