Drive along the Colorado River
There are three driving routes along the Colorado River, 1 up river and 2 down river. All of these drives are terrific and incredibly scenic.

Plan for sun exposure
Most of Moab's trails are on rock and with very little shade. 60 degrees in Moab can feel like 80 degrees given the ambient heat off the rock. Bring as much water as you can on trails along with protection from the sun.
