Getting Around
I've not used them myself but they have good reviews and a wide range of different bikes to try, including mountain, touring and tandem bikes. They are about 4-5 miles away: a lovely cycle by the coast, through Brighton and under the cliff with the sea hugging you all the way back.

This beach, a beautiful 2 mile walk under the dramatic chalk cliffs, has a higher tide than Ovingdean so if you're a sea swimmer you might be able to jump in there if the tide is low in Ovingean. There's also a cafe high on the chalk wall overlooking the sea, a lido, and a stunning tunnel mural down by local artists.

There are some circular walks that link Bramble Cottage, by heading towards the back (North) end of the impressive Roedean school where they keep farm animals. We love walking past the animal fields where the little goats run up to the fence to say hello and play on the swing. Walk back up and over towards the Bulstrode Farm and back through the village.
