Sightseeing
Montauk State Park is a public recreation area occupying nearly 3,000 acres at the headwaters of the Current River, fifteen miles southwest of Salem, Missouri. The state park contains a fish hatchery and is noted for its rainbow and brown trout angling.
Montauk Lodge is open March - November with a full restaurant, small bar and hand-dipped ice cream.

Echo Bluff is one of the newer State Parks, opening only a few years ago. The Lodge has a nice restaurant and views are breathtakingly beautiful.
Echo Bluff is a great place to take kids! The water is crystal clear and there’s a ton of shallow places perfect for little ones!

Elephant Rocks State Park is a state-owned geologic reserve and public recreation area encompassing an outcropping of Precambrian granite. The park is named for a string of large granite boulders which resemble a train of pink circus elephants.
