Sightseeing
Cody is a great home base for visiting Yellowstone National Park. The east gate to the park is about 50 miles from Cody. Once you leave Cody, you will pass the Buffalo Bill Dam and Reservoir, and then you will pass by the small community of Wapiti, and enter Shoshone National Forest. The drive to the park is beautiful. Once in the park, there is much to explore before heading back to Cody.
