Shopping

Much fancier than the Botafogo Praia Shopping. One of the most elegant malls in town and the most 'carioca' of them all without a doubt.

Just cross the street - you're there! Very convenient, lots of stores and a cinema complex. So for a quick shop or food, do not hesitate.

Forget Copacabana beach if you want to swim. Leme is the continuation of Copacabana (so all kinda the same) but in the other extreme of the beach. Less people, cleaner water and the same view and environment - from those beaches close from home, Leme is my favourite.

Opened during the Olympics, it's the epicenter of the newly renovated Port neighborhood. A must go, with a beautiful boulevard, nice view from Guanabara Bay and a museum complex with lots of other options, like the CCBB, Art Museum of Rio, Casa França Brasil, Paço Imperial and more.
