Best Smoked Boudin! Trust Me!
Boudin, (pronounced boo-dan) is a southern Louisiana delicatessen. I like to eat mine plain, but some folks eat them with crackers and mustard. To each his own!
Slight caveat, the customer service isn’t up to par, but I can’t deny how amazing the boudin is so enter at your own risk.

The Saturday’s Farmers Market is my local fave!
It’s open from 8am-12noon. Go hungry. Chef Celeste cooks up a mean brunch. And there’s local shops to support, in addition to the farmers who are stoked up with the best seasonal foods. And you may even catch a live band!

Lyft and Uber can get you around!
Lyft/Uber and/or a combination of public transportation can get you around the city. Be aware, BRLA doesn’t have the best public transportation system. Their usually on schedule, but it’s not the cleanest . Be vigilant and make sure you are aware of your surroundings.
