Highly advise driving 20 minutes to Redstone. Sits below Mt Sopris with the coke ovens, Redstone Inn, Redstone Castle (you can stop on 133 and view it), and Coal Basin you can't go wrong. A lot of history right up the road.

Pretty cool Natural Hot Springs up Hwy 133 around 12 miles. A lot of times you'll see the mountain goats on the other side of the river.
