The Doddridge county park is perfect for walks, play dates, or a pool day. There are loads of walking trails and the park pool is getting a new upgrade this winter and will hopefully open summer 2021. This is about a 10 minute drive from the apartment.

The North Bend rails to trails is a 69.2 mile long trail, ranging from Parkersburg WV to Clarksburg WV. It is open to hikers, bicyclists and leashed pets. It is conveniently located just steps outside of our apartment. There are many tunnels to explore. Flinderation Tunnel off Raccoon Run is even said to be haunted.

Mountwood park is a great place to take your ATVs for a ride! miles of trails to explore and primitive camping is available. We have personally gone here several times if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. This is about a 30 minute drive from the apartment.

The trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is a huantingly good time. They host a haunted house during the month of October, and tours during the rest of the year. It is located Weston Wv, about a 55 minute drive from the apartment.
