Hike to the lake
Take a right out of the treehouse driveway and hike down the trail until you get to the lake. Check the maps app on your phone to be sure you are headed the right direction, as there are many forks in the path!

Bring a sleeping bag in winter!
Although it can be sunny and warm during the day, it often drops to below freezing at night in Arkansas. Be sure to come prepared with a thermal sleeping bag!
Izindlela zokonga
Cook dinner at the camp
There is a camp stove and fire place, both of which are great ways to cook cheap camp meals! I recommend getting cans of soup, sausage, and sweet peppers. The sausages and peppers taste great roasted over the fire. If you plan on using the camp stove be sure to bring a small green canister of propane.

Firewood
Firewood for the main fireplace is a great way of staying warm once the sun goes down. If you are comfortable with the safety precautions, feel free to use the wood burning stove in the main bedroom. Be sure to check the ventilation before sleeping in the room!
