There are a couple studios in the area that are locally owned and not chains. Orange theory is 4 blocks from my condo, row house is about a 12 minute walk, Sweat studio yoga is on the corner of my block. And the bike path is about 3 blocks from my condo. Many active options at your disposal.
Great place/community to workout and sweat while on your mini vacation- reference my name when booking.

These are a couple of my favorite restaurants, bars, night activities in the area. Yelp is great, but the tourist restaurants tend to have the highest rating but aren’t “the best”, in my opinion in the area.
I’ve literally had everything on this menu and it’s consistent and delish. Service has been a bit slower since COVID so please bare with them.

Looking for a date night during your stay? This place is like going to a close friends home for an exceptional meal paired with nice wines, cheese, etc. Sometimes they have music, they are dog friendly, and the staff is lovely.

Hands down the best sushi in the DMV. Fresh fish. Well made. Always packed, but they flip tables quickly. The Toro is boom - and they usually put it on special once a week!

ONE OF THE BEST BREAKFAST SAMMIES YOU’LL GET TO ENJOY!
This market may be over 260 years old, but the produce was picked just yesterday. As the nation’s longest continually operating farmers’ markets in one site, the Old Town Farmers' Market bustles in the shadow of City Hall every Saturday morning. During peak season, you’ll find over 70 vendors offering fruits, vegetables, breads, cheeses, meats and more. Mask up and grab a pastry and coffee at the market, then walk down to the waterfront for a riverside refresh.
