Located directly across the street, If you want a fast simple homestyle burger, this is the place. I've been eating Jim burgers since before I could see over the counter and I often pop in for a quick lunch when working at the property. It has been around for DECADES!

If you are looking for a more upscale meal specializing in seafood, this is a great option. They also offer very nice inlet views if you can get a table by a window. Sunday mornings the put on a large Bloody Mary bar in the bar with all the toppings and hot sauces you could ever want. It's a good time!

Sightseeing
Stop into the little log cabin visitor's center so start your Alaskan adventure off right!
Also, right outside the cabin on F St is the Downtown Trolley Tours. Look for a guy wearing a conductor's hat. This is a fun little informational trolley ride and tour that runs you around downtown Anchorage and out to Earthquake Park. Trolleys run every 30-60 minutes typically in the summer. Possibly a good activity for a rainy day when you want to stay dry.

This is the largest restaurant in Anchorage by square footage. It features arguably the best outdoor patio space in all of Anchorage with views of the inlet and port of Alaska, as well as a great food menu. And of course, there's the BEERS! Great home brewed root beer as well for those looking for a non-alcoholic option.
