Well this is not a museum per se .. but you can see some remains of the Sao Gonzales 1630 shipwreck and read about how the 100 survivors built shelters on the shore living off fish & rice and other foodstuffs rescued from the ship and planted seed in the sandy soil. They then built 2 small boats from the wreckage and eventually sailed away to a not so happy ending, visit Plettenberg Bay to find out more ... !
