Our favorite restaurant in the area but the others are excellent. This place just has great food and drink and views and music and art. Overlooks the John C. Campbell Folk School and these students will sell their art and play music at this restaurant on certain nights.

This is a special place nestled in the mountains off the beaten path. Call ahead to see if it is bring your own steak night or if they have an event that is sold out. Fran and McRae are owners and just a delight. Excellent views from rocking chairs.
