On a good day, you can experience a 360-degree view of the San Juans and Vancouver Island. Sundays and Wednesdays from April through September you can drive to the top. From October to March, the road is open on Sundays as the weather allows.
Otherwise it is a 1.5 mile walk on a paved road to the summit, with several hiking trails within the preserve.
