Walking
Most of downtown is easily walked from the cottage. We suggest a walk down the bluff where the views are beautiful and you can see over Louisiana. Sunsets are especially nice here. There are trails throughout downtown with markers providing information on areas as well as a trail which goes does to the river and back up. Most of downtown is not too hilly so a pleasant walk.

Most downtown streets are one-way! There is plenty of parking downtown unless there is a special event in town.
