This picture doesn't do it justice. Located in Homer. It does serve pizza, but it has much finer food than just that. Fat Olive's has a nice atmosphere and is a good quality restaurant. It doesn't have the lounge-type feeling.

Drop your trailer off here and go explore. Take the North Fork road or Diamond Ridge Road for a scenic view looking over Captain Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay with mountains and glaciers for you back drop. Nice! Do you like hiking? There are so many trials. There is beach combing, volcanic agate hunting, and panning for gold dust. Go fishing in the world famous Anchor River. Do you want to take trip across the Inlet, or the bay? Put your boat in at the Anchor Point Beach using our incredible Tractor Factor - definitely memorable. Two miles down the beach are some coal seams where many seals can be seen. Halibut and salmon are close by. We will keep adding to this list, but it will take some time to do it.

Sightseeing
Breath-taking view of Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. It is a 14 mile trip of ups and downs and winding roads. Start at the Anchor Point center, at the flashing light. Go up the road past the library. This is the beginning of the North Fork Rd. During part of the trip you will think that you are driving through the Shire, from the Lord of the Rings, but you are actually at the wrong end of the globe for that! In August the fireweed is fabulous.

Places that will fascinate you!
It is a place of old culture. It is an outside museum of sorts. There is this Orthodox Church overlooks the old town with great Inlet and Mountain views located on Orthodox Rd. Then, on Mission Ave., there is a road off of the road to the beach that is an old village.
