Mundo's : Get the cappuccino and even buy a few plants! This gem is tucked away from the main downtown and offers great lighting and seating.  Rose and Fern : Rose and Fern is located in a house, and feels accordingly homey! They have great pastries to boot.  Hexenbelle : Hexenbelle has great coffee but also makes inventive, new-age fare. Try the Palestinian rice bowl! 

Mammoth Distilling Co: One of our favorite distilleries in the region. Call ahead to see if they have live music! They also have great food.  Northern Latitudes Distilling: Charming spot located in the heart of Leelanau county. Hand crafted small batch distillery where you can go for free tastings and great cocktails!  Hop Lot Brewery: This brewery has the best atmosphere. The tacos and nachos are delicious. Call ahead to see how busy they are! 

Bonobo: Bonobo winery is on Old Mission Peninsula. It has great views and crisp whites for affordable prices. They also have live music every once in a while!  **If you're looking for other wineries, we recommend 2 Lads, Chateau Chantal, Black Star, Mari. Another good winery, but farther afield, is Aurora Cellars. 

Filling Station Microbrewery: Their pizza is divine. Pair "the Rocket" with an IPA. Jolly Pumpkin: Known for their sours, this place can't be beat. Located on Old Mission Peninsula, it's a great stop after going to the lighthouse. 

Moomer's: A Traverse City staple that boasts over 160 flavors, this is our favorite ice cream shop in the area.    Bardon's: Expect long lines that are well worth it. Their soft serve is delicious! 

Empire bluff A 1.5 mile hike, a little hilly but not too challenging. Beautiful views at the top.  Pyramid Point 2.7 mile hike, also with stunning views.
