Bars and Nightlife

Terrific bar tenders that know their cocktails and despite having a bible of a menu will still make recommendations off-menu, a drink list that rotates seasonally, and a cheeky attitude (the bar was renamed to “Bill Murray” for a season).

Some of our favorite places to see art in the city!
Once again voted the best museum in the USA, the DIA is full of works you grew up seeing, from Diego Rivera’s ‘Detroit Industry’ murals to Van Gogh’s ‘Postman’ and many, many more. Their contemporary exhibitions show of some of the world’s best photography and visual art. And the beautiful Kresge Court is the perfect place for a coffee, lunch, or glass of wine when they’re open late on Friday evenings.
