We love the Seven Dials area of Brighton. There's beautiful architecture around Clifton Terrace and Clifton Hill, and Montpelier Crescent. Interesting shops: Kindly, Berry's antique shop, a cactus shop opposite our house. Red Snapper Thai restaurant is a firm favourite of locals, as well as plenty of good pubs: The Crescent (Clifton Hill), Battle of Trafalgar (Guildford Rd), Good Companions (Dyke Rd) and Shakespeare's Head (Chatham Place).

The architecture of Brunswick Town is unique. Walk around Brunswick Square and Brunswick Terrace, spotting the Blue Plaques commemorating the great and good who lived or stayed here, including Charles Dickens. Good shops along Western Road too.
