Please note: only persons staying in the Kenai River Private Residences Condos are allowed to fish here.
Our river access extends from the wooden barriers on either end of the fishing platform, from the stairway on the east side to just past the stairway on the west side. Be sure to leave all of your equipment, including rods, nets, and stringers of fish, between those boundaries. Check with fish and game at www.adgf.alaska.gov for current restrictions, bag limits, closures, etc., you can also purchase licenses online from this site.

Cleaning/preparing fish
There are cleaning stations at the west end (right side of dock) of the platform to clean your fish and there are freezers in the Connex directly behind our condo to freeze your catch until you leave. Please do not clean fish in the condo. Additionally, vacuum seal all fish and label them, so as not to confuse yours with other residents of the condos.

Processing and cleaning fish
There are several fish processing places in town if you wish to have it vacuum packed professionally. The closest is Kasilof’s, located on the Sterling Highway near the bridge. They will also freeze it and ship it to your home if you don’t want to take it with you. Fish boxes for transport can be purchased from Trustworthy Hardware, Sportsmen’s, or Fred Meyer.

Laundry
You may use the laundry facility located next door. The laundry room door has a leaded glass oval window. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers for your use. Bring your own detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets if you wish to use them. The door is usually unlocked, but the knob is hard to open. Turn it hard to the left and it will open. Please be respectful of others and take your laundry in and out of the washer and dryers in a timely manner.
