Food Scene

Our go-to place. Great organic cafe. The tuna-salad sandwich is great. Lots of good gluten free options and deserts. The trinidad local hang-out. (2023: new owners [nice, friendly local couple], different vibe [more refined less funky-hippie] but still good.)

This is a great beach for sunsets and for low tide. The beach is super flat so at really low tide you can walk out all the way to camel rock. Beautiful coastal views. Park near the ship chain fence

Our favorite place to see Humboldt's 'other tall green plants'. Trail starts at the visitor center. Go towards the 'minors Ridge/James Irvine" trail. Even if you hike only .5 mile, its awesome!
