Good for kids crabbing on the quay, waterfront pub, Ferry Boat Inn and anchor stone cafe. If you arrive in the village after 10am, don't try to park in the Ham Car park - it will be full in July or August. Find a spot in Riverside Road or even on the hill down to the red lion pub. Dittisham gets busy but its well worth a visit - charming village. You can picnic in the park overlooking the River Dart called the Ham where there is also a childrens playground.

Beautiful beach with cafe, toilets and body board hire. Gets super busy in the summer so although theres lots of parking, get there early. Its down a single track lane where being able to reverse to let other people pass is a must. It is on the coast path and there are footpaths to it from inland so if you are up for a hike then this is a good option.
