Blue Mussel Cafe is a seasonal restaurant located in North Rustico, which is about a 15 minute drive away. My personal favorite dish is the charcuterie board, but their mussels and other seafood options are great as well. If there's a wait, you can walk the North Rustico boardwalk and get ice cream, or go for a drive along the Gulf Shore Trail which has some beautiful beach photo opportunities.

If you're making the trip out to Summerside, don't forget to stop in at Holman's Ice Cream. It is a family-run ice cream shop, with delightful homemade flavors. Please note that it is closed on Sundays.

A must-do on the island. It has a beautiful beach as well as the famous Anne of Green Gables. You can do a drive from North Rustico's beach entrance all the way along the coast to Cavendish. It's a beautiful drive with many stops for photos.
