Areas
Great place to have a walk at night as there are bars and restaurants everywhere. You might also walk into some beautiful buildings such as the town hall and the library. A few restaurants I can recommend in this area are Agora Tavern, Koutourou Ouzeri, Laona, Muse, Casa Mespilea, Honey, ... After dinner you can have walk in the area around Rum and Jam, Hovoli Café or Otto.Dieci Music Bar where you'll find plenty of cosy and trendy bars. These restaurants and bars are far less touristy than their counterparts in the harbour area which means you'll get to see the places where the locals hang out. My favourite area in Paphos!

Old Town of Paphos

Kato Paphos or Lower Paphos is the most touristy area of Paphos. In this area you'll find the harbour, castle, many hotels, several ancient ruins and more. At the harbour and the neighbouring promenade you'll find plenty of restaurants and small shops. Restaurants which I can recommend in this area are Ouzeri Almyra, Alea Allday Lifestyle, Hondros, Theo's, ... In the so called 'Bar Street' you'll find plenty of bars and night clubs where tourists come to indulge in alcohol and loud music at night.
Smaller tourist hub a bit outside of Paphos. You'll find some restaurants and bars on the main street. I can't recommend any because I rarely go there. The only place I know and like is Porto Antico. The beach at Coral Bay is beautiful but crowded.
Just outside of the Coral Bay area is a place I would definitely recommend. It's called 'Oniro By The Sea'. Be sure to go there for sunset as the place is very photogenic around that time.

Nice sandy beach. You can come here after your lunch at Viklari or after hiking the Avakas Gorge. Be aware that the road to get here is very bumpy.
An alternative is White River Beach which is also a quiet and remote beach. If you think your car won't manage the road to Lara Beach you can choose for this beach.

You can make it a day trip by combining this with a visit to the village of Lofou, a little hike to waterfalls (Millomeris, Caledonia, ...) around Platres, one of the monasteries in the area and finish the day at one of the many wineries (Zambartas, Vlassides, ...) in this region.

You can make it a day trip by combining this with a visit to the village of Lofou, a little hike to waterfalls (Millomeris, Caledonia, ...) around Platres, one of the monasteries in the area and finish the day at one of the many wineries (Zambartas, Vlassides, ...) in this region.
