So much history here in York. Visit the Yorvik Viking Centre to learn about life in the city in Viking times. York Dungeons takes you back to the city's darkest history. Take a ride on a boat and sight see from the river. Famous cobbled streets ' The Shambles' has lots of unique little shops. Take a walk along the city walls and get afternoon tea at one of many cafes. Or visit one of Yorks many museums such as the Railway Station Museum, The York Art Gallery or York's Chocolate Story.

Best to bring a car. However Driffield is only 6 miles away and has taxi firms which can take you from Langtoft to the Driffield train station where you can easily get to the all the great spots to visit.
