We recommend going past the entrance and following the road to the parking lot closer to the rocks. Parking is free however there are limited spots so you may have to wait for someone to leave or you can go super early in the morning.

This is a fun activity for kids especially! We recommend booking your ticket in advance as they sell fast. The instructions say to arrive 1 hour before departure and from our house it takes about an hour to get to Cañon City. (Note: Cañon City does not operate Ubers/Lyft. You can get a cab on your way back if you get dropped off from COS).
