We recommend that you bring a pair of jelly shoes/sandals that you don't mind swimming in as most of the beaches are pebbly. However, these are available to purchase locally at reasonable cost.

Fisherman's night/summer night
This is a weekly (Wednesdays) event in the centre of Bol where you can purchase a variety of local specialities including food, drink and gifts and souvenirs. There is also live music and dancing.

Getting to Zlatni Rat beach
There are regular taxi boats to and from the harbour in Bol to Zlatni Rat beach if you don't want to walk. In summer months, a land train also goes from the centre and sometimes the route passes in front of the apartment (worth checking details with Tourist Information Office).
