She carries Mtn Fresh Creamery milk from a local dairy plus local eggs when she can get them. She also has provisions for a quick meal plus souvenirs & all kinds of cool stuff. Tell her or my sister in law that you are staying at my place & they will give you a 10% discount! Conveniently located 4 miles north in Tallulah Falls & within walking distance of Tallulah Gorge State Park!

The BEST tea house & coffee shop around!!! They’ve got yummy baked goods prepared on site plus a light menu with great sandwiches, quiches, frittatas & other daily specials. They are located in the old Tallulah Falls train depot & it’s really cool how they have decorated & outfitted the place!!! You gotta go here!!! They blend their own teas & sell them there plus other herbal products that the daughter makes & cool vintage pieces & vintage clothes that the other daughter makes. Really great people with wonderful offerings!! You can’t not go there!!! Tell em I told you!!!

Sightseeing
You can’t come to this area and not go check out Tallulah Gorge!!! The Tallulah River runs through the Gorge creating 6 waterfalls which is why the town is called Tallulah Falls!! Lots of great hiking & views. But if you don’t want to hike much, it’s only a 100 yard walk out to the nearest overlook where you can see the first waterfall. Check out the movie they show for a great virtual tour of the Gorge. The Interpretive Center has a great display about the history of the town & nature exhibits too about the Gorge.

Real close by. 3 1/2 mile hike back to the waterfall. Great close hike but very popular so be prepared to see lots of other hikers if you go on the weekend!
