https://www.ecotranscostarica.com, and now Uber can be used if there are drivers around.
If you want to explore outside the Main Street of Playa Grande as far down as Palm Beach or Tamarindo it is nice to have a car.
There are bike rentals on our block at the beach shops for $15 a day rental or less for Weekly rentals. We are walking distance to the beach, 7 excellent restaurants/bars, surf shops, a yoga and workout studio.
