Catch the ferry in Hatteras to Ocracoke for a day trip of sightseeing. Either drive your own car on the ferry for free, or catch the passenger ferry for a few bucks and rent a golf cart to get around the island. Tuesday thru Thursday is usually more busy than the rest of the days
