Theatre Royal Winchester situated at the cultural heart of the city is a beautiful 400 seat venue, rich in history but fully attuned to the 21st century. It presents a dynamic programme of the highest quality drama, music, dance, comedy, children’s theatre and pantomime. With its Edwardian-style auditorium and contemporary refurbishments, it is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful theatres in the south of England and is the only surviving cine-variety theatre in the country.

Cycle Winchester Mass Ride
Every year in October, Cycle Winchester organises a mass ride from the outskirts of the city to King Alfred’s Statue at the bottom of the High Street. The infamous one way system is closed off to cars enabling you to really see the city on bike!
