Sightseeing

The Bondi to Bronte coastal walk is a magical 2.5km trail, which travels along some of Australia’s most beautiful coastline. The walk takes roughly 1 hour, or longer depending on stops, and goes past Bondi, Mackenzies Bay, Tamarama, Bronte, and continues south to Coogee. Public transport to Bondi beach is recommended, as parking is very limited, especially during the Summer. Walk-goers can take the 333 bus from Oxford St to Campbell Pde, Bondi Beach, or take a 440 bus to Bondi Junction Interchange, followed by the 333 bus to Campbell Pde, Bondi Beach. It takes roughly 40 minutes on public transport to get from Paddington to Bondi Beach. If you choose to start the walk in Bronte and walk north to Bondi, you can catch a 333 or a 352 bus to Bondi Junction Interchange, and then take a 379 or 360 bus to Bronte Beach. One can purchase an Opal Card, the transportation cards which allow passengers to pay for Public transpiration use. Tap your card when you enter a bus, train station, or wharf, and again when you get off. If you choose to drive to Bondi from Paddington, it takes roughly 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic. There are car parks on Campbell Pde, the road parallel to Bondi Beach, or you can park in backstreets. Once again parking at Bondi Beach can be very difficult, so taking public transport is recommended. If you choose to drive to Bronte from Paddington, it takes roughly 11 minutes, and you can park in the parking spaces along Bronte Rd, or in back streets. There are many great fish and chip shops in both Bondi and Bronte. Some options in Bondi include, Bondi Surf Seafoods, 128 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach NSW 2026, and Speedo’s Cafe, 126 Ramsgate Ave, North Bondi NSW 2026.
