Pubs/Venues
Our neighbors! The Peter Easton is the best pub/live music venue in town and our best friends! We share out living room wall with their music space which only becomes noticeable during their Traditional music nights (trad sessions) when they've got their feet and fiddles going!

Welcome to Rabbit Town! Rabbit Town is essentially the upper portion of downtown St Johns. A lot of working class families live around here, everyone is friendly but also keep to themselves. Cookstown road is well known because of the Peter Easton and Bridges to Hope food bank, there are several youth shelters and wellness centers nearby as well. It is a lovely community full of people that some judge by their cover, but rest assured our neighborhood is safe, welcoming, and lively.

There's no uber or lyft in st johns and taxis are king! Be aware peak hours are extremely busy because of this, and if you are downtown they all gather around the Subway next to George Street.

The Friendlist Canadians
Newfoundlanders are friendly, warm, laid back and hard working people. This is a slow moving city full of simple pleasures, and the home of the kitchen party. Everyone's your neighbor in St John's. Be prepared for people to stop in the middle of the road to let you cross, ask you how you're doing and offer to lend a hand, and don't be afraid to ask for local tips from anyone you meet!
