Winter Driving
During snow season 4X4 and /or tire chains are required when driving up the mountain. During winter Retreat Rd might be closed due to ice on on the road. In that case you can still access to the cabin by keep driving on N Sabino canyon parkway and turning
left on Middle Sabino canyon.
