Taxis are not readily available so a rental car is must. However, if you plan to spend most of your time boating and in the town area, a rental boat can get you to town and you can dock behind the grocery store, therefore you wont also need a rental car.

There are a few excursions online that offer the full day swimming pigs tour. Highly recommended!

Renting a boat with a captain for half day is another great option that could take you to places like the lazy river and the beautiful sand bars that you wont be able to get to with your rental boat.

Sunscreen is quite expensive here. I do recommend bringing a ton of it in your luggage. Also, any contact lenses or special prescriptions can not be found here, so please pack and bring those with you.
