Food Scene
Casita Real is in Barangay Tignoan's lively fishing village. La Cabina Real is in Barangay Capalong, just 4 kilometers away. In Barangay Tignoan, one can find the fish stalls selling fresh seafood. Our suki are Lyke's Fresh Fish Daily and Jobeth's Seafood just accross the road from it. We love the giant dorado, the golden pampano, lapu-lapu, tangigue, talakitok, pusit bolpen & lumot and even the simple galunggong, dalagang bukid and buraw. If we can't cook, we can ask Dhadz, Aling Vicky, Nanay Neknek or even our ate Alma to cook for us. Bilihan ng Isda sa Real is truly an amazing attraction.

All day breakfast is everyone's favorite, and they serve the best "silog" meals here. What's even better is that you get to see ate Mafe's amazing garden and tropical plants. Giant monstera deliciosa, Thai constellation plant, and gigantic philodendrons can be found here. They also serve delicious fruit shakes and café latte.

The famous Infanta's Suman sa Gata can be found here in Infanta Commercial Center, as well as other kakanin. Infanta's oraro, kalamay, pasingaw, ube halaya are also great as pasalubong. Aling Elsa's "Super Suman ng Infanta" is our favourite and our first choice among the many suman makers.
Note: It's a bit far because this is in the next town of Infanta, not Real.

This place has the best view of the coast of Real, Quezon, all the way to Infanta. On a clear day, you can also have a glimpse of the islands of Polilio, Patnanongan and Jomalig Islands. The "REAL" sign is just newly constructed, so not so many people have taken a selfie here yet. This is along the Real-Mauban Road which is still under construction.

The beach of Barangay Capalong, along the Famy-Real Highway, is where the smaller fishing boats dock. Here, during the non-amihan season of March to September, when the sea is generally calmer, you can independently hire a boatman and his boat to take you sightseeing or fishing. You can go to Balute island for a quick swim, or to Mag-Asawang Bato area to fish. Look for Jisper, our favorite boatman.
Note: Bring your own life vest or life jacket.

Take the scenic and mysterious Marilaque Highway.
They say the journey is as important as the destination. So getting in or going back to the city, if you haven't taken the Marilaque Highway yet, now is a great time to do it. You'll get to experience the Sierra Madre mountains, as well as the greeneries and the athmosphere that goes with it. Little Baguio is what some people call the peak of the mountain road and you need to find out why, :)

No Lifeguard on duty at the beach.
There is no lifeguard on duty at the public beach. Wade and play with the sand and waves, but don't go swimming at the deep portions of the sea as the tides and strong current may be dangerous.
