Glorious Seaton on the Jurassic Coast
This stretch of the East Devon/West Dorset coast is steeped with jurassic history and there is so much to see!
Seaton is an unspoilt gem on the East Devon coast. Along the coast path its neighbours are Lyme Regis (West Dorset) and Seaton Hole and then on to Beer in the other direction. If walking is your thing, the coast path is on your doorstep. Almond Tree Court is in the Cultural Quarter of the town where you will find a couple of cafes, a wonderful butcher, fruit & veg shop as well as the museum and some lovely individual shops.

Eating out
In Seaton itself, we recommend Frydays for good old-fashioned fish & chips - freshly cooked while you wait!
Feast Lyme Bay, just down the hill is excellent.
Le Pisani also on Fore Street, a Mediterranean restaurant is also very good.
Pubs - the Malthouse on the square just down Fore Street is excellent & dog friendly!
If you walk or drive to the little village of Axmouth, there are a couple of very lovely pubs there also and Chris's Cafe right on Axmouth Harbour is absolutely brilliant if you like crab sandwiches!
The village of Colyford is a few miles inland from Seaton situated midway between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth on the A3052 road. It has a lovely village shop & butcher. We also recommend the local pub the Wheelwright Inn - very welcoming to both humans & dogs alike!

If you get the chance, you must visit Lyme Regis, Seaton's neighbour along the coast - just into Dorset. It really does have something for everyone!
Beer is Seaton's neighbour on the coast and a wonderful historic fishing village. You can walk the coast path from Seaton Hole to Beer and soak up everything it has to offer - it really is idyllic.
