One of my favorite hidden gems to explore near town. Overgrown WWII bunkers with trail systems between areas. Must be reached by boat. You’ll need to arrange a short water taxi or kayak tour to take you there.

Best restaurant in town. They also run a chowder cart at the Science Center that’s amazing. Reservations are usually needed at least weeks ahead of time but try calling and see if you can get on a wait list if it’s last minute.

If you’re looking to dive into the local fishing scene, the P bar is a must-visit. The walls are ordained with photos of shipwrecks, colossal catches, and all manner of revelry. Pretty tame during the day and rowdy at night. If you’re lucky you’ll be there when someone rings the bell and drinks are on the house.
