My Favorite Restaurants
There is so much incredible food here! Ask me for Charleston favorites if you plan to venture into the city!
Everything about this place is delicious-the butternut squash salad is heaven. We love the Ricotta Pizza, but I add extra ricotta , quail egg and arugula after the bake. Also, they make their own limoncello, so if you’re into limoncello it’s a must try!
The pizza and atmosphere is loud, fun-Great for kids!

Groceries
If you can plan to, stop by the Costco on your way here for groceries. The Harris Teeter at Freshfields is great but it is ALWAYS packed during the spring summer season!
Special tip-Kroger owns Harris Teeter, so if you’re from an area that has Kroger’s, your Kroger Plus card/number works there.

We have two beautiful beaches on the island-Pelican and North Beach. Our family tends to prefer North Beach. The condo is mid-island and each beach is about a 1-2 minute drive in either direction. There’s always good parking. We offer bikes if you prefer to bike it! We also have a LARGE beach towel/blanket, umbrellas, a beach caddy and chairs.
Dolphin are here year round and so exciting for kids to see and to point out.
The sunrise at North Beach is among the most spectacular moments of nature I’ve ever witnessed, so plan to wake early at least one morning while you’re here.
Tip: if you visit in the spring, washed up sand dollars will be waiting for you. If you’re here in July-August, grab one of our nets and scoop blue crab from the ocean; specifically in August, sea turtles will be hatching-please watch carefully and obey all Turtle Patrol rules. If you get a chance to see a hatchling, please lease don’t touch but it is wonderful to behold!

With amenity cards, available from me for a fee, guests will have access to the fantastic pools and clubhouse. It’s a wonderful break from a beach day to take a sip in the pool and have lunch poolside.
