There is a very large colony of bats that migrate through Huntsville from Spring to Fall who live in an abandoned building across the street from The Huntsville Walls Prison Unit.

This is one of my favorite state parks in Texas. Great trails and you can rent a kayak or canoe on the weekends. You can also go swimming in the lake.
