On every Sundays there is an event called Tamtam where many people gather up at parc avenue (go up the hill on Parc until you see a huge statue. You will see a lot of people in the afternoon around 1pm). People play drum and have pic nic there. Very relax atmosphere.
Mount-Royal also offers a stunning view if you hike up the mountain. Wear some running shoes and go there early.
