The atmosphere in The Bell is always lovely, they are dog friendly, the food is amazing and they have a great selection of real ale, lager, cider and spirits. Nat and Claire are very friendly and the regulars are all very chatty.

Perrywood garden centre has a lovely tearoom which offers great lunches and has the BEST scones in the county. Highly recommend.

Sightseeing
The zoo is a great place to take kids or even go as adults, they do a lot of conservation work and it is just a really great day out. It tends to get busy during holidays and weekends but it is still well worth it, they now do elephant and giraffe feeds!

Marks Hall is a beautiful estate looked after by a team of gardeners and volunteers. The arboretum has a beautiful selection of trees, plants and features, including lakes, water features and a walled garden. Great for days out, walks and lunch.

Feering is a beautiful unique place with a great community. Not too far from Kelvedon which continues the great pubs, restaurants and also has a train station with a direct link to London Liverpool st and a post office.
