Old fashioned seaside town. No arcades just great Fish and Chips, Ice cream ( we like the one further from the Life boat station) and an expanse of beach. Not safe for swimming. Dogs off the lead once you are past the sign.

Machynlleth to enjoy the stunning views. Stop off for a walk to Glaslyn or just enjoy the scenery.

Either head into the beautiful Count town of Shrewsbury
or
Take a train to the coast and enjoy wonderful scenery. Either to Aberystwyth or on the line to Pwllheli. We like to get off at Towyn and walk to Aberdovey. Pick up a chip and battered halloumi and then train back to Caersws
