The spectacular Kynance Cove is wonderful to visit, with long winding paths down the cliffs to the beach below. By far one of the most beautiful beaches in England! Only 25 mins away. Please take care if you are planning a visit to the coast. Always try to find a lifeguarded beach. Most will only be covered in peak season (29 April – 1 October). More information on specific times and beaches covered is available on the RNLI website, where you can also find more on beach safety, rip currents and a guide to lifeguard flags.

There are dozens of lovely beaches near to Gweek. Our closest local beach is Poldhu, only 15 minutes away. It is great for families, has a local cafe, surf school and lifeguards at certain times and seasons. To reach it, follow the road in front of the farmhouse to the right, right at the T-junction and then left at the roundabout. Take the first right just after the roundabout and right again at the T-junction. Then follow the winding road down to the beach. From Poldhu, you can follow the right-hand coastal path to the charming Church and Dollar Coves, or the left-hand coastal path to the beautiful Polurrian Cove. There is also parking available at each of those locations, if you’d prefer to drive directly to them..
