Cape Tribulation Sights and Daytrips
Head north over the ferry for an amazing Daintree and Great Barrier Reef Experience. Trip time is just over an hour from Newell Beach and 90 mins from Port Douglas. Allow 20 minutes for the ferry crossing, and take sunscreen, water, hats and insect repellent.
World class snorkelling experiences, and the cafe where you convene does pretty good food too! Inflatable reef trips to untouched shallow reefs, perfect for snorkelling. 20 min high speed inflatable trips with two reef stops and guided tours is highly recommended. I have seen turtles every trip, best snorkelling I have experienced yet. You will often get marine biologist guides.

Great for a daytrip, about half way back to Cairns. Includes a boat tour to see the crocodiles, with plenty of other shows and animals too. Good but pricey cafe. Kids love this and always want to return.
